A D WHITE can often be found reading, writing, gardening, watching television, and enjoying time with her family and friends. She grew up in Freemanville and Martinville, Alabama, where she spent most summers on her grandparents’ farm with her siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins, knee deep in mud or a creek in search of the next adventure. It was that unique childhood that fueled her imagination. She fell in love with reading at a young age, but it was not until she met Dr. Davis, her English teacher at Escambia County High School, that she recognized her passion for writing, under his tutelage.  She lives with her husband, two sons, and “grandpup,” Fredo, in Alabama.  Please enjoy the story, and visit this site for upcoming events and new books.
